Was a little sceptical as whenever we walked past, there wasn’t many people dining in, but chose to try the food. Very tasty and good portions. The best curry we had had for a while. Staff very polite. We noticed there were many people ordering to take away, so is a hit with the locals.
The food was excellent, and the service was very attentive. The Tikka mixed grill was sizzling hot as was all the food, and the lamb curry was extremely tender.
We are from tarn (Barnsley), staying at New Lanark Mill Hotel. We’ve had takeaway tonight and it was absolutely gorgeous, delivered very quickly, it was fantastic. Thank you.
Excellent meal on Thursday night, 10th April 2025 at Jholpai Indian Fusion in Lanark - I had Jalfrezi lamb, my friend chicken Jalfrezi and my other friend Punjabi lamb - accompanied with vegetable and chicken pakoras, nan bread, mushroom pilau rice and washed down with Kingfisher Beers - the lamb was cooked to perfection and melted away in your mouth - and the restaurant has recently been redecorated and refurnished
Outstanding again. Exquisite fish and succulent lamb. Fantastic starters and lovely lassi. Well worth the small diversion from the M74. Staff friendly, helpful and attentive.

Just tried Jholpai for the first time. Absolutely stuffed. The food was delicious with the main meal portions very substantial. Cooked to perfection, packed with flavour and very moreish. Pshwarie nan was one of the best that we have ever had. Staff very polite, chatty and attentive. We will definitely be back........and soon. Happy, happy customers. Thank you.
Delicious and hot food delivered very quickly from Lanark to Forth. Had Lamb Vidaloo and Lamb Madras and the lamb was lovely and tender. Maybe a tiny bit on the dear side but you get what you pay for and will definitely order again.
